If you want to understand how powerful rotating Amazon has become the global industry $ 3.5 trillion in your head, here's a clue.
In October, Amazon launched its third annual re: Invent conference in Las Vegas for its customers Amazon Web Services.
A highlight is a two-hour speech Andy Jassy, senior vice president for AWS. Your message to big business was clear: Come use Amazon, we are finally really ready for you.
And the highlight of the keynote came in 1:08:47, while Jassy got in front of a slide with a long list of reputable companies that are "all-in" on Amazon.
"All-in" means that they have taken the courageous decision to leave all their own private data center and manage their business in the leased equipment, storage, software in place, and other services served by AWS. Check out the companies on the list:
Notice anything? Companies around the world of business, including technology industry.
"When the data center comes up for lease, what people are doing is looking at, 'I could spend a big pile of money to refit it, or I could replace it with an AWS account"
We talk to those responsible for the projects "while" AWS three technology companies: Netflix, accounting software company Intuit network giant Juniper exam dumps, why they decided to use Amazon.
They believe they are role models and that in the next decade, large companies will follow suit.
"When the data center when hiring, what people are looking for, you could spend a lot of money to put it back, or you could replace it with an AWS account," explains Adrian Cockcroft, formerly Netflix cloud architect, the man who oversaw the use of Netflix in the Amazon until 2014 is currently a fellow councilor technology for VC firm Battery Ventures.
(Netflix declined to comment on this article, despite speaking publicly about their use of Amazon AWS to return Inventing conference :.)
The implications are clear. If these high-tech companies can remove all their data centers and move to AWS, any business can do the same.
"I think in some AWS aspects helps redefine the industry. That's one of the reasons why we are delighted to partner with them in this area, because we believe we're riding with one of the industry leaders," Michele said Iacovone Intuit, vice president and chief architect.
